Clinic Coverage : Monday-Friday, AM / PM

Inpatient Coverage : As backup only if other pediatric pulmonologist is off (home call)

Coverage Needed : 2 weeks per month

Patient Load : 20 patients / day when scheduled full-day clinic Work Setting

Practice Setting : Hospital-based

Patient Population : Pediatric patients up to 21 years old

EMR System : Cerner Procedures & Skills Required

Interpret pulmonary function tests (PFTs)

Read full PFTs and spirometry

Perform or interpret bronchoscopies Support Staff

Medical Assistants

Respiratory Therapist (Cystic Fibrosis Clinic)

Social Worker

CF Nurse / Coordinator

Dietitian Credentialing Requirements

Board Certification : Required (Pediatrics)

Certifications : BLS

ACLS

PALS

DEA : Required
