• Description : Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital a proud member of BJC HealthCare is seeking a full-time board-certified or board-eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to join our high-demand multi-specialty clinic in Sullivan Missouri—just one hour from St. Louis—with a strong referral base modern facilities and robust support system in a vibrant and welcoming community.Job Description : As an Orthopedic Surgeon at MBSH you will : Join a well-established multi-specialty clinic located on the hospital campusCollaborate with two current orthopedic surgeons and other primary care providersProvide high-quality orthopedic care with flexibility to shape your practiceConduct patient consultations surgeries follow-ups and in-office proceduresPerform inpatient hospital care or collaborate with hospitalist teams for coverageParticipate in flexible call rotation and weekend coverageUse Epic EMR system for documentation and in-basket managementWork closely with tenured CRNA team and on-campus specialty supportBe involved in teaching or collaborating with APPs and clinic staffPractice in a high HPSA score location eligible for J1 visa sponsorshipOperate within a state-of-the-art facility including advanced ORs emergency services therapy and wellness center wound care center and moreManage the medical care of your patient panel including inpatient hospital care directly or via qualified covering physicians per medical staff guidelinesCollaborate with patients families and care team members to ensure optimal outcomes across designated BJC locationsPerform and document detailed medical histories and physical examinations in accordance with hospital medical staff by lawsProvide or coordinate call coverage for clinic and inpatient care adhering to BJC policies and applicable professional standardsTeach and collaborate with advanced practice providers clinical staff and other care team members involved in your patient careMaintain a high level of alertness and safety in all aspects of care recognizing the role as safety-sensitive within BJC standardsNot accepting Locums candidatesOpen J1 visa candidates onlyNot open to 1099 candidatesCompensation and Benefits : Two-year guaranteed base salary starting at 600000 based on skills and experience50000 signing bonus2000 per month residency or fellowship stipendUp to 100000 student loan repayment support over five yearsRelocation assistance providedAnnual quality and efficiency bonus availableContinuing Medical Education CME allowanceComprehensive health insurance including medical dental and vision coverage starting the first day of the month after hireLife and disability insurance paid by BJCRetirement plans including 401k with BJC match and 403b plan as well as pension plan funded by BJCTuition assistance available starting on the first day of employmentAccess to BJC Institute for Learning and DevelopmentHealth Care and Dependent Care Flexible Spending AccountsPaid time off that combines vacation sick days holidays and personal timeAdoption assistance program availableLegal services access provided
