Telemetry RN Job Details Location : Plattsburgh, NY 12901 (New York nursing jobs) Estimated Weekly Salary : $2160-$2210 Assignment Length : 16 weeks (option to extend up to 32 weeks) Start Date : November 17, 2025 End Date : March 9, 2026 Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 30) Hours per Week : 36 Employment Type : Travel RN contract Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry RN experience (travel nurse experience required; no first-time travelers) Active New York RN license or proof of application (NY nursing license processing : 6-8 weeks; start dates / offers will accommodate) American Heart Association BLS certification required CMSRN certification preferred NIHSS certification required prior to start Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years (required for clinical support) COVID-19 vaccine required (no exemptions) Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions only) Reliable personal or rental vehicle required (public transportation not accessible; snow tires recommended November-April) Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities Float within the Resource Pool, including Medical / Surgical Telemetry and ED HOLD patients Deliver high-quality patient care and adapt to unit needs Work every other weekend; schedule may be adjusted to meet unit and patient care needs Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas / Christmas Eve, New Year's Day / Eve) if they fall during the assignment Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR Participate in bi-weekly orientation sessions (next available : December 1) Complete all required compliance documentation prior to start Discover why Plattsburgh is a top destination for travel nurses and healthcare professionals.
