Pay : $23 / hour Location : Long Beach, CA Schedule : Monday-Friday 7am-3 : 30pm Type : Temp-to-Hire

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team in Long Beach. This position plays a vital role in our distribution branch, managing responsibilities across customer service, inside sales, warehouse support, and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will bring industry knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for building strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to internal and external customers via phone, email, and in person.
• Process sales calls, quote requests, and product orders from start to delivery.
• Maintain and grow customer relationships, including upselling and follow-through on all orders.
• Track and follow up on quotes, lost sales, and expedite requests.
• Collaborate with outside sales, purchasing, warehouse, billing, and management teams.
• Monitor inventory levels, product availability, and pricing.
• Coordinate delivery logistics to meet customer expectations.
• Negotiate customer quotes and proposals.
• Assist with credit and collections for assigned branch accounts.
• Occasionally accompany sales representatives on customer visits.
• Manage returns, arrange special deliveries, and process credit card payments.
• Assist with physical inventory counts and occasional warehouse tasks (forklift operation, order picking / packing).
