• Certifications Required : BLS, ACLS, NRP
• NO CLINICAL INVOLVEMENTFIT TESTING / FACIAL HAIR- Please note, if a clinician for this facility has facial hair, they will be required to pass the either the Primary or Secondary fit test (3M Aura 1860 sm or reg / 3M 1870+). If unable to pass - A Portacount test would be required, which CANNOT be completed on clinicians with facial hair & PAPR CANNOT be completed on site solely due to failing because of facial hair - contract would be canceled if facial hair cannot be removed.- # of L&D Beds : 4 L&D beds, 7 postpartum- Do you follow AWHONN guidelines for ratios? : Labor : 1 : 1-2, PostPartum : 1 : 2-3- Common diagnoses / Types of patients : >

35 weeks in labor, Mom / Baby couplets- Years Experience : 2yrs experience required- Are RNs required to titrate drips? : Yes- Common titratable & / or set rate drips : Antepartum / Labor- Magnesium, Oxytocin, LR, Zofran, etc . Postpartum : Prenatal vitamin, Ibuprofen, Acetaminophen, Percocet, Toradol- Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment? : Yes- RT Equipment (Vents, Cpap, BiPap, High Flow, etc.) Are RNs required to do anything with these besides trouble shoot? : Neonatal vent- CPAP, Bipap, high flow- EFM SystemOB Trace Vue- Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) : 7-7 / / block scheduling- Weekend Requirements : Every third weekend- Holiday Requirements : Depending on availability- Floating Requirements : Floating to MSP / ED for helping hands, mostly sitting 1 : 1 with patients- Scrubs : Provided- How many shifts of unit / department specific orientation? : 3- 12 hour shifts- Additional Notes : This is a rural hospital, distance from NICU >

1 hour away, limited services. Attributes that help a nurse be successful in this unit team work, provider consistency, knowledge, independence, good communication. Surgery is in charge of the C section, we just circulate for the baby. Radius Rule : 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and / or Dignity.RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract).
