Position Details : Location : Near Syracuse, Nebraska Shift Type : Days with after-hours and weekend on-call responsibilities On Call : Nightly and weekend calls required Availability : October, November, and December Flexible scheduling : 3-5 days over weekends or up to a full week at a time Two weeks per month, with possible separation Hours : Clinic : 8 : 30 a.m. 5 : 00 p.m. Call handoff : 8 : 00 a.m. (weekends : Friday, Saturday, Sunday) Job Responsibilities : Clinical Duties : Maternal fetal medicine consults in clinic Reading ultrasounds for MFM and general obstetrics Supporting inpatient ultrasound consultations Private delivery patient consultations and nurse-midwife backup (occasional) Clinic patient load : 15-20 patients / day Hospital Responsibilities : Standard maternal fetal medicine procedures in a hospital setting (Labor & Delivery, Postpartum) Requirements : Board Certified OB / GYN with MFM Subspecialty Required Active Nebraska License Highly Preferred OB / GYN Residency & MFM Fellowship Required Certifications : Active BLS, DEA, NRP Required Clean Malpractice / Background Highly Preferred Local candidates (within driving distance) Highly Preferred Must be available for the dates specified in the job description Compensation and Benefits : Travel and Lodging : Air travel, rental cars, and mileage reimbursed according to specific guidelines Lodging expenses covered, with reimbursement up to 1.5x the standard rate Other Details : Credentialing timeline : 60-90 days EMR System : EPIC Support Staff : On-site ultrasound techs and front desk support This locum tenens position offers a great opportunity to work in a dynamic environment providing maternal fetal medicine services to a well-established practice.
