Overview
Move beyond being a BCBA into the advanced role of Center Director of our brand-new Edwardsville, IL center! This large free-standing building will feature two levels of therapy rooms, an outdoor green space, and convenient access to community opportunities for our clients. As the Center Director, you will combine clinical expertise as a BCBA with leadership responsibilities. You will oversee day-to-day center operations, guide and support a team of BCBAs and registered behavior technicians, and ensure that schedules, patient intakes, and community engagement efforts run smoothly. This dual role allows you to both bill clinically and shape the culture and success of the center.

Key Responsibilities - Clinical
Conduct functional behavior assessments and / or functional analyses.Develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs.Deliver evidence-based treatment and ensure compliance with Illinois licensure requirements and BACB standards.Provide competency-based training and supervision to RBTs / behavior technicians, parents, and caregivers.Monitor treatment fidelity and guide clinical decision-making using data analysis.Complete timely documentation (progress notes, monthly reports, treatment plans, SOAP notes).Attend IEPs, ISPs, IFSPs, BSPs, and other client-centered meetings.Leadership & Operations
Oversee and mentor BCBAs and clinical staff, ensuring high-quality service delivery and professional development.Manage schedules for staff, therapy sessions, and center operations to maximize efficiency.Coordinate patient intakes, collaborating with families to ensure smooth onboarding and transition into services.Lead community engagement initiatives, building strong relationships with schools, local organizations, and referral sources.Monitor and maintain compliance with company policies, payer requirements, and state / federal regulations.Cultivate a positive and collaborative center culture aligned with Emergent's mission.Qualifications
Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.Illinois Behavior Analyst License (or immediate eligibility).Strong clinical experience with FBAs, VB-MAPP, skills-based assessments, and ABA treatment planning.Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in clinical or educational settings preferred.Excellent organizational, scheduling, and communication skills.Reliable transportation for local travel as needed.Work Conditions & Requirements
Full-time position with flexible scheduling based on client and center needs.Must maintain client safety, confidentiality, and compliance with all ethical, clinical, and company standards.Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, implement intervention procedures, and manage challenging behaviors with appropriate crisis intervention strategies (training provided).Exposure to potential behavioral and environmental hazards; use of PPE as appropriate.Job Type : Full Time
