Assignment Type : Travel RN Contract

Unit : Labor and Delivery (L&D / OB)

Shift : Night Shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19 : 00 - 07 : 00)

Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 17 / 2025 – End : 2 / 16 / 2026)

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,780 - $1,910

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience required (3 years preferred)

Active Registered Nurse license (North Carolina or Compact State)

Certifications : BLS, NRP, FHM, AWHONN for fetal monitoring (STABLE preferred)

Experience in antepartum, labor & delivery, postpartum, and couplet care

Basic medical-surgical nursing skills for hysterectomy patient care

Updated professional references required at submission

COVID-19 vaccination required (medical / religious exemptions considered)

EPIC electronic charting experience preferred

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring, antepartum, and postpartum patients

Deliver couplet care for mothers and newborns

Assist with high-risk deliveries and cesarean sections

Administer medications and monitor for complications

Educate and support patients and families throughout the birthing process

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, and pharmacy

Float within the hospital as needed

Maintain accurate documentation using the EPIC system
