Your Role :
As the Business Office Director , your role includes overseeing the financial, billing, payroll, and human resources functions of the community. You will manage the business office staff, maintain compliance and accuracy in all processes, and provide exceptional service to residents, families, and team members.
Position Highlights :
- Status : Full Time
- Schedule : M-F 9–5
- Location : Fort Pierce, FL
- Rate of Pay : $60,000–$65,000 salary (Exempt; Paid bi-weekly) +10% Target Annual Bonus

What You’ll Do :
Oversee business office operations, including billing, collections, accounts payable, payroll, and resident accountsPrepare, reconcile, and maintain accurate financial records, including cash controls, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statementsCollaborate with department leaders to assign and track departmental expenses and budgets; prepare financial and management reports as neededMaintain resident, vendor, team member, and financial files in accordance with policies and compliance requirementsPartner with residents and families to resolve billing and collection matters professionally and accuratelyLead community human resources processes including recruitment, onboarding, orientation, benefits administration, payroll, and record maintenanceGuide department leaders on employee relations, policy compliance, and performance managementOversee employee engagement and safety initiatives, including appreciation programs, safety committee leadership, and workplace injury reportingConduct exit interviews and prepare regular reports for community leadershipSupervise, train, and coach business office staff, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of all processesEnsure corporate policies and internal controls are consistently appliedPerform other duties as assigned to support community operationsQualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field with at least one year of accounting experience preferredAssociate’s degree in Accounting with two to three years of related experience consideredMedicaid experience is requiredExperience in business office management, payroll, or human resources strongly preferredStrong organizational and leadership skills with attention to detail and accuracyProficiency in financial systems, human resources information systems, and Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and complianceExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with residents, families, and team membersWhy Join Us?
