The Behavior Technician is responsible for :
Providing one-on-one direct care with learners ages 18 months to 21 years while teaching independent daily living skills for a higher quality of life in a primarily center based setting, with opportunities for home or community based sessions based on treatment planCollecting and recording data on the learners' behavior for skill acquisition and distressed behavior reduction goalsCollaborating and communicating with team members including the learners' familiesProviding a safe and supportive learning environmentFollowing individualized behavior programmingAdhering to diet, supplementation, and medication protocols per prescription / parent instructionsCompleting documentation and billing both timely and accuratelyBehavior Technician training looks like
Hope Network offers our team a unique, hands-on training experience designed to enhance a technician's ability to offer high quality services from the start. New Behavior Technicians are set up with an individualized one on one training experience guided by a qualified trainer.
