We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the strategic relocation of a multi-functional facility in Rockford, IL. This role is critical in ensuring a seamless transition to a new site by July 2027, aligning with operational, technical, and business requirements across departments.

Lead the end-to-end relocation project, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.

Gather and document requirements from diverse departments including Engineering, Program Management, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Quality, HR, and more.

Collaborate with real estate agents to identify and secure a suitable facility with potential for future expansion.

Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to execute the move efficiently.

Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and dashboards using Microsoft 365 tools.

Facilitate stakeholder engagement, including regular presentations and progress updates (approx. 30% of time).

Build and manage a cross-functional project team, ensuring alignment and accountability across all phases.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of project management experience, preferably in facility relocation or cross-functional initiatives.

Proficiency in Microsoft Project 365 and related collaboration tools, and Microsoft Office.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, presentation skills.

Computer Savvy - PMP certification is a strong asset.

Background in aerospace or similar technical industries is preferred but not required.
