Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heart Failure ICU Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with heart failure in the intensive care unit.

Responsibilities :

• Perform comprehensive physical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with heart failure in the ICU
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging, to assist in the diagnosis and management of heart failure
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated and holistic care to patients
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor and manage patients' symptoms and vital signs, and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
• Educate patients and their families about heart failure, treatment options, and self-care strategies
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects related to heart failure care
• Stay current on advancements and best practices in heart failure management through continuing education and professional development opportunities
