Position Overview
The Ohio State University College of Medicine’s Department of Urology is seeking an exceptional and innovative urologist trained in Urologic Oncology. The faculty position is full‑time on the or clinical track, with rank and salary commensurate with education and experience. The successful candidate is a respected clinician, educator, and researcher whose scholarly work has or will have impact for the field of Urology.
Department / Division Overview
The Department of Urology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is nationally recognized for delivering the highest quality of care for the treatment of urologic conditions. Our mission is to alleviate patient suffering from urologic disorders through an integrative model of extraordinary clinical care, patient‑centered discovery and educational innovation. The Department performs over 27,000 clinical and operative procedures annually and is engaged in multicenter and multispecialty initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities
The scope of duties includes diagnosis, consultation, and treatment of adult patients presenting with various disorders of the genitourinary system in office, ambulatory, and hospital settings, with particular focus on Urologic Oncology. The successful candidate must have expertise in minimally invasive surgical approaches to standard and complex genitourinary malignancies.
