Job descriptionThe controller will plan and direct the accounting operations of the company Oversee the the operations of the accounting department Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures Maintain financial integrity and compliance Manage accounting operations, accounting close, reporting and all schedule reconciliations Prepares a financial statement by the 10th business day of each month Maintain strict cash management and bank account reconciliations Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations Oversee payroll for staff Supervise the dealerships' business office personnel, including but not limited to employees responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, DMV registrations, payroll, and human resources Coordinating with outside accounting and legal professionals and providing requested information as required Performing other duties as required

Dunn Chevrolet is a fourth generation family owned car dealership. We sell New Chevrolets, preowned vehicles, service, parts and have a body shop. Over half of our employees have been with the company for over 20 years. Happy employees make happy customers.

- Excellent management and supervisory skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High proficiency in accounting and automotive DMS systems namely Reynolds & Reynolds
- Financial reporting and cash management
- Financial operations management
- Compliance management
- External / internal audit
- At least five to ten years of related experience required
- Salary is commensurate with experience
