Medical Temporaries, Inc. is currently seeking a

Nurse Practitioner

This is a 4 day per week assignment (will consider candidates that can work at least 2 of the 4 days) / TEMP TO HIRE or DIRECT HIRE position requiring availability between the hours of 9AM-4PM, Monday through Thursday, located in Virginia Beach, VA (23452).

Responsibilities :

A Day in the life of a Nurse Practitioner :

Provide patient education on wellness, lifestyle modification, hormone therapy, sexual health, weight management, and disease prevention.

Conduct comprehensive assessments, physical exams, and follow-up visits for male patients.

Develop individualized care plans

Maintain accurate and timely medical records.

Promote a supportive and respectful environment for patient engagement and empowerment.

Job duties : Perform screening, intake, orientation, assessments, treatment planning, documentation, patient education

Requirements for the Nurse Practitioner :

Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Must have a Masters level degree in the NP program, National Board Certification and have a valid / unrestricted state license to practice in the NP role.

Clinical training and experience in evaluating, diagnosing, and providing care to patients of all ages.

Must be certified in basic first aid and CPR.

Ability to pass background check

Preferred Qualifications for the Nurse Practitioner :

RXNT EMR experience is a bonus

Experience in men’s health, primary care, endocrinology, or wellness medicine is a bonus

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Passion for educating patients and promoting long-term health improvement.

Benefits :

$60.00+ / hr (depending on experience level)
