Job Description :

Set and maintain quality standards for company products through the use of systematic processes. Develops, modifies, and executes software test strategies, plans and suites. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. Develops tools and environments to automate test execution. Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems.

The expectation is that this person will work on-site at the Cupertino Juniper Mist office 5 days a week. This role does not have the ability to sponsor and due to the responsibilities of the role, the candidate must be a US citizen.

Contributions impact technical components of HPE products, solutions, or services regularly and sustainable. Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Provides expertise and partnership to functional and technical project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Exercises significant independent judgment to determine best method for achieving objectives.

Responsibilities :

• Build and maintain system testbeds using Access Points, networking devices, and servers.
• Perform QA validation of 802.11 wireless standards and proprietary features.
• Conduct end-to-end validation of client-to-cloud architecture.
• Recreate customer-reported issues in lab environments and collaborate with global engineering teams to drive resolution.
• Execute performance testing using tools like iPerf, ixChariot, etc..
• Partner with the Customer Support (CS) team to review defect reports and enhance test coverage.
• Log and track bugs in Jira, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
• Escalate critical issues promptly to relevant stakeholders.
• Create and maintain technical documentation in Confluence for CS and QA teams.
• Mentor and train Level 1 / 2 Engineers on emerging wireless technologies

The expected salary / wage range for a U.S.-based hire filling this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education / training, and / or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. USD Annual Salary : $101,900.00 - $234,500.00
