Key Responsibilities : The Dental Hygienist is a vital clinician responsible for upholding our standards of excellence and commitment to patient health.
Key duties include :
Clinical Excellence : Performing thorough patient assessments and delivering meticulous prophylaxis, scaling, root planning, and applying fluoride / sealants to achieve optimal dental health.
Preventative Focus : Serving as a primary educator on proper oral hygiene and nutrition, and conducting thorough exams, including oral cancer screenings.
Patient Advocacy : Establishing a comfortable, trustworthy relationship with patients to provide a positive experience and encouraging lifelong preventative habits.
Safety & Compliance : Strictly maintaining infection control and sterilization processes.
Documentation : Accurately charting clinical findings, medical history reviews, and treatment plans in patient records.
Qualifications :
Current, active state license to practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) in Connecticut.
Current CPR / BLS certification.
Experience with state-of-the-art dental technology and strong commitment to continual professional education.
