Accountant Assistant
Location : Texarkana, TX
Hours : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM
Salary : $50,000-$60,000 / year, depending on experience
A growing hospitality group with multiple hotel properties is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to oversee financial operations across several locations. This is a full-time, on-site position.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage daily accounting activities for multiple hotel properties
- Prepare monthly financial statements, general ledgers, and bank reconciliations
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Handle full-cycle payroll processing including tax filings and quarterly / year-end reports
- Provide HR support such as onboarding paperwork, benefits tracking, and compliance documentation
- Prepare and file required tax reports including tourism, sales, liquor, and short-term rental taxes
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring
- Ensure compliance with brand, state, and federal financial and HR regulations
- Collaborate with hotel managers and company leadership on financial reviews and audits
