What You Will Do :
The Pump Shop Manager is responsible for receiving, shipping, distribution and pump technician functions of the warehouse. This individual will report directly to the area manager and manages the daily operations of the warehouse including warehouse management and operational business metrics.Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and proceduresIdentify needs and organize and coordinate efficient operation of location warehouse, shipping and transportationAssemble and disassemble down hole pumpsOrganize, motivate and direct work activities of Warehouse Personnel and Truck DriversIdentify and manage workflow and proper work assignments of subordinatesSafeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocolsLiaising with customers, suppliers and transport companiesPlanning and monitoring the storage, delivery and dispatch of ordersOverseeing stock control and processing ordersEnsuring quality, delivery budget and environmental objectives are metFulfilling objectives and directions from the operationsKeeping stock control systems up to datePlanning future capacity requirementsTraining of staff, as well as monitoring staff performance and progressMotivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are metProducing regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basisOverseeing the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipmentComplete yearly reviews of employees and work with his / her manager during the merit processApprove employees time cards weekly and day off requests in WorkdayInterviewing / hiring of new employeesTake care of any safety concerns / issuesDisciplinary action if required (Verbal, Written, or Termination)Report any injuries (Fill out the Intelex form)Other duties as requiredPre-Employment Requirements :

Valid driver's license in state of residence3 years of warehouse / pump shop experienceOperational knowledge & experience with warehouse operations, DOT, HAZMAT, OSHA, Forklift certification and training, shipping and receiving, distribution, documentation, and complianceStrong PC skills including proficiency in ExcelStrong work ethic and team playerHigh degree of professionalismStrong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skillsAbility to communicate with various levels of managementDecision-making, problem-solving, and strong analytical skillsOrganizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skillsBasic math and analytical skillsSolid technical skills to understand computerized measuring machines and metalworking processesAbility to read and interpret blue prints and manufacturing documentsMust be self-motivated and disciplined to work autonomously with minimal supervisionGood organizational skills with the ability to effectively handle multiple tasksGood written and oral communications skillsGood interpersonal skillsImmigration sponsorship not offered for this rolePreferred Qualifications :
