Travel Nurse Job Details Location : South Charleston, WV 25309 – West Virginia nursing jobs Healthcare Setting : Acute Care – Operating Room (Outpatient and Main OR) Assignment Length : 13-week travel contract (option to extend) Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Shifts : 8 or 10-hour day shifts (start times : 6 : 15am or 6 : 45am); late days as needed until cases finish Call Requirements : 3-5 eight-hour call shifts per assignment; rotating call for weeknights, weekends, and holidays (30-minute response time) Charting System : EPIC EMR Estimated Weekly Pay : $2,280–$2,450 per week Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license (any state; West Virginia RN license preferred) BLS certification required Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience Ability to scrub as first scrub and circulate orthopedic procedures Experience with orthopedic, podiatry, and minor plastic surgery procedures preferred Ability to float to One Day Surgery or Main OR as needed Strong communication and teamwork skills OR Nurse Responsibilities Scrub and circulate for diverse surgical procedures, specializing in orthopedic cases Collaborate with surgeons, surgical techs, and healthcare team members to deliver safe, efficient patient care Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC electronic medical records Participate in rotating call schedule; respond within 30 minutes when on call Float to other surgical units as needed Uphold infection control and patient safety standards Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your travel nursing career in South Charleston, WV!
