ER RN Travel Nursing Job Details
Location : Portland, OR 97239 (Oregon healthcare jobs)
Assignment Length : 13 weeks
Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (17 : 00–05 : 30 or 19 : 00–07 : 30)
Hours per Week : 36
Start Date : Every Tuesday (first available : 12 / 2 / 2025)
Patient Ratios : 1 : 3–4
Weekend Requirement : Yes
Floating : Within hospital
Estimated Weekly Salary : $1930-$2070
Emergency Room RN Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oregon or compact state (Oregon nursing jobs)
Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
At least 1 year of travel nursing experience (recent Epic charting experience required)
Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS (TNCC preferred)
Trauma Level II experience required; Level I preferred
EPIC charting experience required
References required

Pending license accepted (must have application submitted and received by licensing board)
ER Nurse Responsibilities
Assess patient needs and coordinate interventions in a fast-paced Emergency Department
Deliver care for trauma, acute stroke, STEMI, psychosis, sepsis, and substance abuse patients
Perform procedures : moderate / deep sedation, intubation, cardioversion, D&C, sexual assault exams, CPR, and imminent deliveries
Administer and monitor blood products, IV vasopressors, and continuous IV sedation
Interpret ABGs, dysrhythmias, and obtain 12-lead EKGs
Manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction / failure, neuro-trauma, traumatic brain injury, and spinal cord injury
Apply isolation precautions and manage violent behavior or psychiatric holds
Float within the hospital as needed to support clinical teams
