American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Rochester, New York.

Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a skilled ER RN with a current NY license and at least one year of emergency department experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
  • Patient population includes a broad range of emergency cases
  • Requires the ability to float as needed throughout the facility
  • Schedule includes variable 12-hour day and night shifts in a 3x12 rotation
  • Work during holidays is required
  • Uses Epic EMR, and Epic experience is a hard requirement
  • First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment
  • Pre-start completion of required online modules is necessary, up to 5 billable hours
  • Not eligible for candidates who have been employed in the past year
  • RTO must be included at the time of application and is subject to approval
  • Work assignments may require flexibility due to variable scheduling and potential for floating

  • Active NY RN license in hand required for consideration
  • Minimum of 1 year of ER nursing experience required
  • Experience with Epic EMR required
  • Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility
