Job description

Clinical Manager

Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Clinical Manager for our Group Homes who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a clinical manager you will :

  • Initiates and implements complete, comprehensive psycho-social assessments
  • Provides individual, group, and family therapies to clients and their families
  • Participates in and interdisciplinary treatment team to propose and develop strategies and interventions that would promote excellent therapeutic outcomes
  • Supervises all Manor staff and operations, treatment teams, staff meetings and other programming meetings as required
  • Coordinates with the interdisciplinary team, referral sources, and community resources aftercare and supportive services to ensure a successful discharge planning process. Promotes positive patient-family-community relations
  • Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to diffuse psychotic and / or behavioral crises to ensure client, unit, and staff safety and stability
  • Prepare reports to DHR, Adventist Healthcare and other bodies regarding patient care and programming
  • Endure and oversee compliance with COMAR regulations to include staff educational training and maintaining integrity of the physical plant
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications include :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Nursing, Social Work, Public Health, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a licensed assisted living facility or group home setting.
  • Experience working with older adults and / or individuals with disabilities or chronic mental health conditions preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Maryland COMAR 10.07.14 regulations for assisted living.
  • Minimum of 1 year in a supervisory or management role in a health or human services setting.
  • Must complete the 80-hour Assisted Living Manager Training approved by the Maryland Board of Nursing.
  • CPI and Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Experience in group facilitation
  • Work Schedule :

    M-F, 8am-5pm but may require occasional weekend coverage.

    Pay Range : $77,313.60 - $115,980.80

    If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.

    Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), this position is classified as : United States of America (Exempt)

Those testing positive are given the opportunity to re-apply in 90 days, if they can truthfully attest that they have not used any nicotine products in the past ninety (90) days and successfully pass follow-up testing.
