Job descriptionOur ideal candidate, who plays a pivotal role in providing quality care to patients, will be responsible for performing tasks such as taking vital signs and assisting with activities of daily living. The Patient Care Technician will work closely with the Registered Nurse or nursing team to ensure that all patient needs are met effectively and efficiently. By collaborating with the healthcare professionals, our candidate will develop a comprehensive understanding of patient care protocols and assist in implementing treatments and interventions as directed by the nursing staff.
Job Title : Patient Care Tech
Location : Washington, DC 20032
Duration : 3 Months+ (possible extension)
Schedule : Day and Night shifts available (3x12-hour shifts)
Unit : Med Surg unit
Pay rate : $32 / hr. on W2
Note : The candidate must reside at least 50 miles away from the facility, as it is a travel position.
Requirements :
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Patient Care Technician (PCT) is required.
- Valid Patient Care Technician certification
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
