In this position, you will be responsible for delivering specialized clinical pharmacy services, focusing on infectious disease management, ensuring optimal medication therapy, and supporting patient safety initiatives. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining high standards of care and supporting the overall health and wellness of our service members and their families.
Required Skills: - Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from an ACPE-accredited institution
- Completion of a clinical pharmacy residency or fellowship accredited by the American Society of Health System Pharmacists or American College of Clinical Pharmacy
- Minimum of three years of recent experience as an infectious disease clinical pharmacist or completion of a PGY-2 specialty pharmacy residency in Infectious Diseases
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted pharmacist license
- Strong knowledge of infectious disease pharmacotherapy and clinical pharmacy practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Nice to Have Skills: - Additional certifications in infectious disease or related specialties
- Experience working within military or federal healthcare settings
- Proficiency with electronic health records and pharmacy management systems
Preferred Education and Experience: - Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited college or university
- At least three years of relevant clinical experience in infectious disease pharmacy practice within the last five years
Other Requirements: - Availability to work 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday
- Ability to provide documentation of appropriate education, training, and CME in clinical pharmacy
- Willingness to adhere to all federal, state, and local healthcare regulations
This role offers a competitive total package of $88.29/hr, including an $80/hr straight rate, $3.20/hr holiday pay (paid across all hours worked up to 40/week for 11 federal holidays), and $5.09/hr toward health and wellness benefits. The position begins on 04/01/2026 and runs for 8 weeks, with the possibility of extension.
