Duration : 1 year contract with the possibility of a 4 years extension
Shift Schedule
- Inpatient Services : Operate 24 / 7.
- Routine Shifts :
- 12-hour shifts : 07 : 30AM–08 : 00PM and 07 : 30PM–08 : 00AM
- May be adjusted to 10-hour shifts with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break depending on patient needs.
- Work Week : Sunday 12 : 00 AM – Saturday 11 : 59 PM
License / Certifications
Mandatory Active and Unrestricted RN License in any U.S. State, District of Columbia, Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or U.S. Territory.
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare ProvidersAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)Education
Graduate or higher-level degree / diploma in Nursing from an accredited professional nursing program.Minimum Qualification / Experience
Minimum 2 years of RN experienceAt least 2 years of experience in a Medical-Surgical settingResponsibilities
Initiate and manage nursing processes for admitted patients, including assessment, intervention design, implementation, and evaluation.Administer medications, blood products, oxygen, and physician-ordered treatments.Operate and monitor medical devices (e.g., ECG, respiratory, drainage, suction, feeding tubes).Record and monitor patient vitals, neurological status, and medication effects.Provide direct patient care and assist with daily living activities.Document care, changes in condition, and observations accurately.Coordinate care with healthcare teams and support staff.Supervise and delegate to ancillary staff.Perform routine quality control checks (e.g., crash carts, lab, glucose monitoring).Collect and assist with lab specimens (blood, urine, stool, etc.).Recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies, initiate resuscitation, and other emergency procedures.Identify adverse medication or treatment reactions and initiate appropriate interventions.Handle patient-related calls and communication appropriately.
