Location : Marion OH

Schedule : MondayFriday 6 : 00am2 : 30pm (overtime as needed)

Pay : $21 / hour depending on experience

Job Summary

A manufacturing facility in the Marion area is seeking a Laser Cutting Technician to operate and support flat-sheet and tube laser cutting equipment. This role involves setting up production runs monitoring cut quality and ensuring accurate fabrication of metal components in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Responsibilities

Operate laser cutting equipment for flat and tubular materials

Load position and secure materials with proper fixturing

Adjust machine settings and CNC parameters to maintain cut quality

Perform basic program edits and resolve routine equipment issues

Inspect parts using calipers gauges and other precision tools

Monitor production runs to ensure consistency and accuracy

Maintain production records job travelers and documentation

Perform routine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance on equipment

Follow all safety and housekeeping requirements

Qualifications

Experience operating laser cutting machines (flat or tube)

Familiarity with CNC controls and machine adjustments

Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings

Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes

Proficiency using precision measurement tools

Dependable safety-focused and able to work overtime when required
