Senior Full Stack Software Engineer - Card Technology

Your Role :

Lead a diverse portfolio of technology projects and guide a talented team of developers skilled in distributed microservices and full stack systems to address regulatory needs effectively.

Stay at the forefront of technology trends, engage in experimentation with new tools, participate in tech communities, and mentor fellow engineers while occasionally contributing code or reviewing others' work.

Collaborate closely with product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans to achieve financial success.

Utilize a wide range of programming languages and technologies, including JavaScript, Java, HTML / CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Go, open source databases, container orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, and various AWS services.

Basic Qualifications :

Bachelor's Degree

At least 6 years of software engineering experience (internship experience does not apply)

At least 1 year of cloud computing experience (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)

Preferred Qualifications :

Master's Degree

9+ years of experience in programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go

4+ years of experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, etc.)

4+ years of experience using open source frameworks

2+ years of experience in Machine Learning technologies like scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow

1+ years of experience in people management

2+ years of experience in Agile methodologies

Salaries for this position in McLean, VA range from $225,400 to $257,200. Compensation also includes performance-based incentives such as cash bonuses and long-term incentives.
