Warehouse Operations Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for shaping and executing the warehouse strategy to support Kelvion’s global supply chain objectives. This role drives operational excellence through automation, process optimization, and strategic resource planning, ensuring scalability and resilience in the supply chain. The warehouse Operations Manager develops warehouse strategy, responsible for innovation, automation, and cost optimization aligning with corporate supply chain goals.

The manager plays a critical role in supporting production schedules, minimizing downtime, and driving continuous improvement in warehouse processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

• Develop long-term warehouse capacity plans
• Lead digital transformation (WMS upgrades, automation).
• Implement continuous improvement frameworks (Lean, Six Sigma).
• Define and implement warehouse strategies aligned with corporate supply chain goals.
• Lead initiatives for automation, advanced analytics, and digital tools to improve efficiency.
• Develop and monitor KPIs and dashboards for strategic performance monitoring, such as inventory accuracy, inventory turnover, and on-time delivery to manufacturing
• Drive sustainability initiatives in warehouse operations.
• Develop and enforce warehouse SOPs aligned with manufacturing requirements.
• Optimize warehouse layout for efficient handling of heavy materials and equipment.
• Collaborate with production managers, procurement, and logistics teams to align warehouse operations with manufacturing goals.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
• Develop and implement proactive safety strategies aligned with global standards.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
• Lead risk assessment and mitigation programs for warehouse operations.
• Championing a culture of safety through training, audits, and continuous improvement.

REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES)

• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and supply chain management.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices.
• Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and operational efficiency
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP platforms, and inventory control software.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and material handling best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production setting.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, ISO standards, and environmental compliance.
• Ability to handle heavy materials and equipment safely and efficiently.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (required levels)

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of warehouse or logistics management experience in manufacturing operations.
• 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proven track record of supporting production schedules and managing material flow
• Equivalent experience may be considered.
