Position : RN-ER-Emergency Department (Travel / Contract)

We're hiring experienced RN-ER-Emergency Department for a 13-week contract in Santa Barbara, California — earn up to ($1809 - $1905 per week) while providing essential care at a leading facility. Most candidates will need to have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality emergency care to patients in the ER.

Collaborate with medical team to ensure comprehensive patient treatment.

Participate in ongoing professional development and training programs.

Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting changes to physicians.

Develop and implement patient care plans in emergency situations.

Adapt to fast-paced and high-pressure emergency department environment.

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records for effective treatment.

Ensure compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations.

Engage in performance reviews to identify areas for improvement.

Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatments.

Utilize medical equipment and technology effectively in patient care.

Contribute to a positive and efficient work environment.

Experience / Qualifications

Licensed RN with active California state nursing license.

Minimum 2 years of experience in an emergency department setting.

Strong ability to handle high-pressure situations in the ER.

Proficiency in using medical technology and equipment.

Excellent communication skills for patient and team interactions.

Ability to develop and implement effective patient care plans.

Skilled in maintaining accurate and detailed patient records.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.

Understanding of hospital policies and healthcare regulations.

Ability to educate patients and families on health conditions.
