The Role and Team

The Enterprise Applications & Integration team is part of corporate IT and is responsible for supporting, developing, managing and enhancing the set of enterprise applications which make up the platform that delivers Medallia's business processes. The group focuses on engagement with the lines of business to evolve and scale solutions to best fit Medallia's business needs. In addition, the group focuses on design, development and deployment of an enterprise decision support system to provide enhanced reporting and analytics capabilities.

As a Senior Integration and Automation Architect, you will be responsible for owning the technical design and maintenance of the platform integrations and automated processes that are critical to our global operations. You must possess a solid understanding of APIs and integration workflows, and ideally have experience with iPaaS platforms, including Adobe Workfront Fusion and Boomi. You'll partner with business group administrators and department leaders in optimizing and scaling our platforms and processes. The ability to understand, consult, and collaborate on business requirements will be critical to this role.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and application leads to translate business requirements into detailed technical integration requirements.
  • Develop and execute quality assurance / test strategies. Troubleshoot as needed. Collaborate with cloud data stewards to oversee unit testing and other UAT efforts.
  • Perform development, scripting updates, data preparation, target schema and related ETL as required for data loads.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional technical and business teams to deliver objectives in fast-paced and complex projects.
  • Stay current on process and advancements to automate and modernize Workfront - especially as they relate to understanding and communicating Workfront Fusion releases, new features and automations.
  • Drive platform integrations and workflows to help uncover insights for users and leadership.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process streamlining for our work management process.
  • Gather and interpret technical requirements on an ongoing basis and contribute to expansion and migration plans.
  • Oversee acceptance testing, support tickets, troubleshooting and issue resolution
  • Optimize data processes and systems for performance, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Solutions optimization and supportability (searches, scripting, workflow).
  • Develop and maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all technical design aspects of data systems, processes, and pipelines.
  • Collaborate and build effective working relationships across the organization with emphasis on stakeholder management.
  • Provide technical expertise to support management of data cleansing / transformation.
  • Work in the capacity of technical expert point of escalation for the day-to-day support.
  • Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience designing and implementing medium to large-scale business systems, components and integrations
  • 3+ years system integration experience with responsibility for identifying, analyzing and developing cloud orchestration and integration flow technologies (e.g., Adobe Workfront Fusion, Boomi, Workato, etc.)
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years using Fusion with Workfront, implementing automated processes and workflows
  • Adobe Workfront Fusion certification
  • Adobe Workfront administration experience
  • Understanding of work management methodologies
  • Experience with SaaS platform administration, process improvement, and change management.
  • Superb communication, strategic thinking, creative problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong self-starter with high technical capability and ability to work independently
  • Team player with unwavering integrity, positive attitude, and passion for the opportunity
  • Medallia is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual base salary range for this position is $133,000 - 192,000. Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline and combines all of the distinct labor markets within the US. It is uncommon for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on a variety of factors. Medallia considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, candidate's work location, education / training, key skills, internal peer equity, external market data, as well as, market and business considerations when making compensation decisions.
