Job Overview :

Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of mechanical and electrical manufacturing equipment, while meeting productivity requirements and maintaining KDPs high standards in safety and quality.

Shift & Schedule : This position will support our 3rd Shift : 9 : 30PM-6 : 00AM. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends and holidays as scheduled is required.

Position Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and healthy environment, demonstrating safe behaviors at all times.
• Focus on Good Manufacturing and Food Safety practices in all work.
• Analyze mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic or electrical problems and make repairs through adjustments, defective parts replacement, or fabrication.
• Assist and collaborate with other teams on basic mechanical skills, such as line operators, to support autonomous maintenance, TPM functions, equipment set-up and centerlining.
• Ability to quickly learn to weld and machine metals, plastics, and composites.
• Fabricate or replicate minor pieces for the repair or replacement of parts on equipment.Complete size changeovers and troubleshoot liquid fillers and packaging equipment.
• Identify root causes of mechanical, electrical and control failures and resolve with effective problem-solving tools with minimal downtime or supervision.
• Generate productivity and continuous improvement ideas.
