What You’ll Do : Lead daily kitchen operations to deliver high-quality, nutritious, and appealing meals for residents.Oversee menu development that supports resident preferences, dietary needs, and seasonal ingredients.Manage food and labor budgets, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising quality.Train, mentor, and develop culinary and dining staff to maintain excellence in service and food preparation.Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality of ingredients and supplies.Implement and monitor sanitation, food safety, and cleanliness standards in compliance with ServSafe and regulatory guidelines.Collaborate with leadership to create a positive dining experience that reflects the community’s mission and values. What You’ll Need :
ServSafe Manager certification (required). Emery Place will cover the cost and support you in earning it if needed.Proven experience in food service management, preferably in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality.Cooking experience :
2 years (required).Management experience :
2 years (required).Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, menu planning, and nutrition standards.Experience managing budgets and controlling food and labor costs.Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to develop and inspire teams.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining compliance and safety standards.
