Job Summary :
West Penn Energy Services LLC is seeking a dedicated and safety-consciousFacility Construction Laborerto join our team on afull-time, long-term basis. This role supports the construction, maintenance, and repair ofnatural gas facilities, including compressor stations, meter stations, and related infrastructure. The position will be based in thePennsylvania regionbut requiresovernight travel while on projects. The ideal candidate will haveconstruction experience, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in theconstruction and maintenanceof natural gas facilities, includingfoundation work, structural assembly, piping installation, and general labor tasks.
- Operate and maintainhand and power toolssuch as grinders, saws, drills, and pneumatic tools.
- Perform physically demanding tasks such asshoveling, lifting, carrying materials, and site cleanup.
- Load and unloadmaterials, tools, and equipmentat job sites.
- Followcompany and regulatory safety procedures, including proper use ofpersonal protective equipment (PPE)such as hard hats, gloves, safety glasses, and boots.
- Assist withsite preparation and restoration, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
- Take direction fromsupervisors and collaborate with team membersto complete tasks efficiently and on schedule.
- Perform other duties as assigned by theSite Supervisor or Project Manager.
Qualifications :
Previous experience in facility construction, industrial construction, pipeline work, or similar environments(preferred).Proficiency in operatinghand and power tools.Physical ability tolift, carry, and move materials up to 50 pounds.Willingness to work inconfined spaces, trenches, and at varying heights.Strongcommitment to safetyand adherence to company policies.Ability to workoutdoors in all weather conditions.Willingness totravel overnight for extended periodswhile on a project.Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.Experience operatingheavy equipment(e.g., forklifts, skid steers, backhoes) is a plus.Certifications in safety training(e.g., OSHA 10 / 30, confined space entry) (preferred).Working Conditions :
Outdoor and industrial work environmentsin diverse weather conditions, includingextreme heat, cold, and rain.Remote job site work, includingovernight travelduring projects.Physically demanding tasks, such as lifting, climbing, digging, and tool operation.Extended hours and overtimemay be required to meet project deadlines.Physical Requirements :
Must be able tolift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.Must be able tostand, walk, kneel, climb, and crouch for extended periods.Must be comfortableworking in confined spaces and at varying heights.Must be capable ofperforming manual labor in demanding conditions.Benefits :
