Job descriptionOversee and provide project management across all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC) Develop and maintain project management tools (scope, risk, communication, change control, performance tracking) Manage project costs, schedules, resources, scope, issues, and risks Monitor and report project performance, milestones, and risks to leadership Guide project teams, lead status meetings, and advise on scope changes and recommended actions Collaborate with steering committee and senior management to optimize project processes Lead project kickoff meetings and define roles / responsibilities Ensure deliverables meet expectations via product verification and conduct lessons learned reviews PMP certification from PMI or equivalent (must provide certification) Bachelor's degree in a related field or specialized training Minimum 7 years of experience leading moderate to high complexity projects 7 years of hands-on experience with MS Project, MS Visio, SharePoint 2013, and MS O365 Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Teams, and SharePoint U.S. Citizenship or Green Card Experience coordinating vendor-managed projects within last 5 years Experience in public sector IT and / or outsourced environments Executive-level communication skills Full-time, Contract position Health insurance provided 7 years : Leading moderate to high complexity projects 7 years : MS Project, Visio, SharePoint, O365 7 years : IT project management 2 years : Public sector IT PMP certification (Required) U.S. Citizenship or Green Card (Required)

- Pay Rate : $60.00 per hour
- Work Location : Hybrid (must report onsite in Atlanta, GA as directed)
- Department : State government agency, Department of Human Services (DHS), Division of Aging Services (DAS)
- Reports To : IT Assistant Deputy Commissioner
