Salary :

Apave America Inc. is currently seeking experienced API 653 Inspectors for the Texas region!

Must have extensive experience with tank inspections.

Full-time call out and full-time nested positions available at this time; Call out positions will require travel.

As an API 653 Inspector you will perform internal and external visual inspections and nondestructive examination on above ground storage tanks in accordance with the API 653 standards and requirements, as well as provide client with technical recommendations for the repair, re-rate, replacement, and / or alteration of plant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and or review comprehensive storage tank inspection reports; Submit to client technically accurate reports documenting the condition of tank equipment
• Have broad knowledge base relating to tank inspection and repair of aboveground storage tanks, and satisfy the minimum qualifications specified in API Standard 653 : Tank Inspection, Repair, Alteration, and Reconstruction
• Provide client with technical recommendations for the repair, re-rate, replacement, and / or alteration of tank equipment, as required for safe operation within stated operating parameters for durations specified by client
• Provide technical input to client as required for welding and metallurgical issues
• Provide technical guidance, on an application of non-destructive examination techniques and procedures
• Fully comply with all Apave America Inc. and client safe work practices and actively participate in all site safety initiatives
• Interpret regulations, codes and industry standards
• Travel to sites as needed.
