Phoenix Hebrew Academy (PHA), established in 1965, is the first Orthodox Jewish day school in Arizona. We are dedicated to providing a dual curriculum of both Judaic Studies and General Studies in a warm atmosphere.

Position : Fourth Grade General Studies Teacher

Phoenix Hebrew Academy is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Fourth Grade Teacher . The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and committed to fostering an engaging learning environment that aligns with our school's values and mission.

Responsibilities

Instruction : Develop and implement a comprehensive and engaging curriculum for fourth-grade students in all general studies subjects, including English Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies.

Differentiation : Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners, including those who require extra support and those in our gifted program.

Classroom Management : Maintain a structured, positive, and nurturing classroom environment that encourages student curiosity, respect, and independence.

Collaboration : Work collaboratively with other teachers, administrators, and parents to support student growth and development.

Communication : Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress, behavior, and upcoming events.

Qualifications ✨

Education : Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or a related field.

Certification : A valid Arizona state teaching certificate is preferred.

Experience : Proven experience teaching at the elementary level, with a preference for experience in a fourth-grade or upper-elementary classroom.

Skills : Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.

Personal Attributes : A strong love for children, a patient and empathetic demeanor, and a commitment to our school's mission and values.
