Position Purpose

The Warehouse Shipper is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient handling, moving, loading, and / or unloading finished pet food products in a pet food manufacturing facility. This role ensures that finished goods are properly loaded onto trucks for shipping to meet customer demands.

Work Environment

This role involves working in a fast-paced warehouse environment with exposure to loud noise, heavy forklifts, other heavy machinery, and varying temperatures. The Warehouse Shipper may be required to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift, up to 50 lbs. The Warehouse Shipper plays a key role in maintaining product quality, warehouse, organization, and shipping efficiency. PPE must be worn in designated areas.

Requirements

1st Shift hours are Monday through Friday 8AM to 4 PM but may change as needed based on company needs. Flexibility is required. There may be times where overtime and weekend work may be required.

Education and Experience :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 or more years previous forklift experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or logistics required.
• Forklift certification is preferred or the ability to obtain it within a specified timeframe.

Benefits :

2nd and 3rd Shift will have a shift differential pay of $1.00 per hour added to the standard hourly rate for the position.
