Sales Development Executive
Our client, a leader in the food distribution industry, is looking for a Sales Development Executive.
The ideal candidate will have experience in all stages of the sales cycle. They should be confident with building new client relationships and maintaining existing ones. They should have evidence of strong skills and possess good negotiation skills.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Build relationships with prospective clients
- Maintain consistent contact with existing clients
- Manage sales pipeline
- Analyze market and establish competitive advantages
- Track metrics to ensure targets are hit
- Perform inside and outside prospecting activities to identify qualified accounts for new Business Development.
- Develop a creative plan to generate leads through prospecting multiple sources, cold calling, in-person visits, and telephone and email campaigns.
- Establish and maintain good relationships with clients, networking groups, professional organizations and the community in order to develop new business.
- Research and approach potential business customers.
- Develop comprehensive sales presentation materials tailored to the needs of individual businesses.
- Make formal sales presentations and follow-up calls to prospective new business accounts.
- Consistently close new business subject to a monthly quota.
- Maintaining a thorough working knowledge of all services offered and awareness of the competition, i.e. market share, pricing, services offered, etc.
- Completing all required Sales reports including pipeline activity and / or prospects for bids and proposals
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related fields.Minimum (4) years of experience in sales.Experience in full sales cycle including deal closing Demonstrated sales successStrong negotiation skillsStrong communication and presentation skillsCRM experience is preferredStrong data analysis, evaluation, and problem-solving skills.Fully Bilingual English / Spanish.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Internet applications.Ability to meet or exceed sales targets.Ability to impact and influence key customers and opinion leaders.Selling and research skills.
