Responsibilities Work in a 100-bed Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) facility specializing in long-term care Geriatric, short-term, post-acute, and trach patient population Nurse to patient ratio is 1 : 20 Nurse Practitioner on duty 7 : 00 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m., Monday through Friday Ancillary assistance available : 9 staff during days, 7 staff during nights 12-hour day shifts from 6 : 45 a.m. to 7 : 08 p.m. Weekend and holiday shifts are required Care for geriatric, post-acute, and trach patients in an LTAC setting Team includes a Nurse Practitioner and ancillary staff for additional support Holiday coverage is required as part of the schedule Orientation provided prior to assignment start date Requirements Active MS or compact RN license required Current BLS (AHA) required; ACLS preferred Minimum two years of LTAC experience required Experience in a facility with 400 beds or level 2 trauma center strongly preferred Prior travel nursing experience required, but strong first-time travelers may be considered Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-633461.
