About The Position

  • Facility will consider strong candidates without Oncology exp
  • Please limit holiday RTO requests to no more than 1 of the 3 major holidays
  • 29 Bed Unit. Adult Population- Medical and surgical patients battling cancer, palliative care and family education of the oncological processes. Urology and Telemetry patients included.Experience Required : 2 YearsRatios : 4-5 : 1 Patient Ratio (Days); 5-6 : 1 Patient Ratio (Nights)Shift Info : 36 or 48hr contract options; Every other weekend requiredCerts Required : BLS, ONCC / ONSSkill Requirements : Telemetry; Central Line Draws, Ports, Blood Administration, PCA Pumps, Bone Marrow Aspiration Assist, Pleurx Chest Tubes. Chemotherapy Administration (preferred)Clinician can be floated within scope to meet facilities needsOpen to accommodating blocked schedule requests100mi. Any previous probationary actions on license will be considered on case-by-case basis. Perm employees CANNOT RETURN AS TRAVELERS FOR 2 YEARS AFTER LAST DATE WORKED PERM. Current Vandalia Health System employees : please note, if candidate is currently employed at any Vandalia Health System facility (CAMC Health Systems, Mon Health Systems, Davis Medical Center, Broaddus Hospital, Webster Memorial Hospital, Grafton City Hospital, Highland-Clarksburg Hospital, Minnie Hamilton Health System) working as perm, PRN, etc. they will not be eligible for a travel contract at this facility.
