Caregiver / Patient Care Assistant (PCA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Position Summary:


The Caregiver provides non-medical in-home care and support services to clients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being while promoting independence and dignity.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Personal care assistance (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)
  
  
• Companionship and supervision
  
  
• Light housekeeping and laundry
  
  
• Meal preparation and feeding assistance
  
  
• Transportation and errand assistance (as authorized)
  
  
• Accurate documentation of services provided
  
  
• Compliance with agency policies and state regulations
  
  

Minimum Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older
  
  
• Ability to pass background screening
  
  
• CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
  
  
• TB screening (or ability to obtain)
  
  
• Reliable transportation
  
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  
  
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• CNA or PCA certification
  
  
• Previous home care or healthcare experience
  
  

Work Environment:


Client homes throughout Middle Georgia. Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting, and assisting clients with mobility.
