HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel Electrophysiology Technician for a travel job in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Title : Electrophysiology Technologist
Location : Albuquerque, New Mexico
Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : Day Shift, 4x10-hour shifts (7 : 00 AM – 5 : 30 PM)
Job Responsibilities and Requirements :
Set up and maintain equipment for electrophysiology procedures
Accurate monitoring and EKG lead placement
Prep access sites and maintain sterile field (scrubbing)
Recognize and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias
Assist with electrophysiology studies including arrhythmia induction, baseline measurements, cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, conduction studies, and electrophysiology evaluation
Assist with insertion and programming of AICDs, pacemaker insertion, and cardiac implant closure devices
Perform cardiac cath lab procedures and hemodynamic monitoring
Maintain equipment and inventory, ensure sterile technique and infection control
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV, respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
Required Certifications :
ACLS, BLS
Certified Cardiology Invasive Specialist (CCI) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCES) preferred
State licensure (New Mexico license pending acceptable)
Preferred Skills : \nExperience with fluoroscopy and use of imaging equipment such as GE Innova IGS, Philips, Siemens, and ultrasound\nKnowledge of sterile technique and isolation precautions\nAbility to work with adolescents, adults, and geriatrics\nFamiliarity with rapid response and code team procedures\n\nAdditional Information : \nPatient ratio is 1 : 1 during the day shift\nExtensive prior EP lab experience strongly preferred\nScrubs provided
