This role involves providing high-quality psychiatric nursing care to patients in an inpatient behavioral health setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, emotional resilience, and a commitment to patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities : Deliver direct nursing care to patients with behavioral health needs in accordance with established protocols and individualized care plans Monitor patient progress, administer medications, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support recovery Respond to psychiatric emergencies and implement de-escalation techniques when necessary Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards Support a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and staff Qualifications : Active RN license in Washington State (or compact license) Minimum 1-2 year of recent behavioral health or psychiatric nursing experience BLS certification required; ACLS preferred Strong communication and crisis intervention skills Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment Lifepoint Job ID 6-966873.
