UPMC Presbyterian, a Magnet designated hospital , is currently hiring a Full-Time Registered Nurses to support our Neurology / Neurosurgery / Neuro Trauma Units.

The UPMC Neuroscience service line provides personalized and comprehensive care for patients with a wide array of neurological disorders and is one of the nation's leading neurologic research and training programs. Our Neurology units offer expert care from leading neurology specialists aided by the latest medical technology, from life-saving intervention for severe brain trauma to skillful management of neurological illnesses. By understanding the normal and abnormal functions of the human nervous system, we help define the standard of care for stroke, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, movement disorders, and many other neurological disorders.

The final job title and pay rate will be based on individual qualifications and candidate choice. Any required certifications and contributions based on job title will be afforded a timeframe to obtain. Our competitive career ladder, as well as our Total Rewards package, will be discussed at the time of offer to ensure you can make the choices that are right for you. The minimum rate of pay for a non-BSN Professional Staff Nurse is $34.25 / hour.

Shifts / Hours :  Our RNs work a rotating 12-hour schedule to ensure 24 / 7 coverage on the floor.

Graduate Nurses must be eligible for State Board Licensure and successfully pass the examination before beginning this role OR ability to start with TPP and must obtain license within four months of beginning position. Applicants will be placed in the appropriate job title and salary from the My Nursing Career Ladder based on their individual experience and education.
