Assistant Project Manager

We’re working with a respected general contractor seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager (APM) with experience in healthcare and education construction. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to technically complex projects like hospitals, clinics, K-12 schools, and university facilities.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow into a leadership role while supporting project managers through all phases of construction.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist in managing project documentation (RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes)
• Support scheduling, procurement, and coordination of trades
• Communicate with clients, architects, engineers, and field teams
• Help ensure compliance with healthcare / school-specific codes and safety protocols
• Maintain budgets, monitor progress, and track costs using construction software
• Contribute to project closeout, punch lists, and turnover packages
