Title : Safety Engineering Co-op (January - May 2026, August - December 2026)

Location : Oxford, Mississippi

Salary : $30.00 / hour

Housing Stipend Available

Focus : The Safety Engineering Co-op assists the EH&S team with safety investigations, training development, and ergonomic assessments to promote a safe and healthy work environment.

Safety Engineering Co-Op Essential Job Functions :

• Lead a minimum of three hands-on projects throughout the term, to be defined at the beginning of the rotation based on department and business need
• Investigate safety incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions
• Assist in developing new hire training and participate in FMEA discussions with cross-functional groups
• Conduct ergonomic assessments using software and NIOSH techniques to support workplace safety improvements
