Medical Assistant

Position Summary : Responsible for assisting physicians, nurses, and office supervisor with clinical duties. Cross-training as needed per practice.

Primary Position Responsibilities :

• Initial Intake
• Patient Room Preparation, Before and After Care
• Patient Order
• Point of Care
• Patient Safety
• Attend Staff Meetings

Qualifications :

Minimum Education : Required : High School Diploma or Equivalent Medical Assistant Certification

Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation) : Required : None

License, Registry or Certification : Required : Medical Assistant Certification required; must have CPR certification or obtain within 6 months

Knowledge, Skills and / or Abilities : Required : Customer service skills required; computer skills, detail oriented and multi-tasking skills
