Must-Have :

Must have OR circulator experience.

Must have Labor and Delivery experience.

Description :

The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Labor and Delivery department.

The unit has 7 beds and a diverse patient population.

Night shift staff typically includes 2 RNs and 1 Scrub Tech.

Patient ratios are 1 : 3 and may vary based on census and acuity levels.

Key equipment includes fetal monitors, warmers, and various monitoring devices.

The electronic medical record system used is Epic and CPN Connect.

On-call requirements include 2 shifts on call every four weeks.

Weekend requirements involve working 2 weekends, subject to staffing needs.

Typical procedures performed include inductions, C-sections, vaginal deliveries, and triage.

Preferred skills include performing SVE and placing IUPC and FSE.

Ideal candidates should be flexible, cheerful, positive, team players, quick learners, and adaptable.

Accountability and mentorship skills are highly valued.

Unit protocols exist for managing various conditions and procedures.
