Substation Project Manager - Construction

FindTalent is partnering with a leading energy infrastructure contractor to hire an experienced Project Manager specializing in substations and electrical infrastructure . In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle of medium-scale substation projects, ensuring successful execution from initial bid through completion. This position demands strong leadership, a focus on safety, and a commitment to delivering projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will bring technical knowledge, organizational excellence, and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage multiple substation and electrical infrastructure projects, typically valued at $5M or less.
• Lead project planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure timely and profitable completion.
• Oversee project safety standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Coordinate project resources, including labor, materials, and equipment.
• Monitor project progress and adjust schedules and budgets as needed.
• Prepare and present project updates, status reports, and forecasts to stakeholders.
• Participate in the bidding and proposal process, providing project insights and cost estimates.
• Ensure adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and contract requirements.
• Conduct site visits to assess work progress and resolve project-related issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by contributing lessons learned and best practices.
